From the founder's love and passion for agriculture…

We started as a small family home in the farm area with local chicken breeding, fruits, and vegetables.

Now, Soma Farm is one of the charms among the Soma Group’s 11 subsidiaries.


SOMA Group Co., Ltd. founded in 2007, is one of Cambodia’s leading local conglomerate

and a Management & Consulting firm.


Today, the Group comprises of 11 subsidiaries operating in 6 industries.

Based in Phnom Penh, SOMA Group companies now employs more than 2,500 staff countrywide.

THE CEO

Agriculture sits at the intersection of some of Cambodia’s most important opportunities: food security, rural economic development, import substitution, value-added production, and the responsible use of our natural resources.

At Soma Farm, our ambition is to build a modern, integrated and commercially competitive agricultural enterprise proudly rooted in Cambodia—producing high-quality Proudly Khmer products for our domestic market while progressively developing the capabilities to compete regionally and internationally.

Today, our operations span egg production, cattle, orchids and fragrance coconuts. These businesses provide the foundation from which we are building the next generation of Soma Farm.

Our strategy is to move progressively beyond primary agricultural production toward a more integrated agricultural value chain.

For us, integration is not simply about becoming larger. It is about becoming more productive, more resilient and more competitive.

By strengthening capabilities in critical agricultural inputs, production systems, genetics, feed, value-added processing, agricultural by-products, distribution and market access, we aim to gain greater control over quality and cost, reduce dependency on external inputs, improve resource efficiency and capture more value from what we produce.

We also see significant opportunity in circular agriculture. Materials traditionally considered waste can become productive resources—from livestock manure converted into organic fertilizer to agricultural residues developed into biochar and other useful inputs. This is both an environmental responsibility and an economic opportunity.



Technology will increasingly underpin this transformation.

We are working toward an operating model where data, automation, biosecurity, traceability and measurable productivity become fundamental to how our farms are managed. As our operations scale, these capabilities will become increasingly important in achieving consistent quality, improving efficiency and preparing our products for higher-standard markets.

At the same time, growth must remain commercially disciplined.

We will pursue expansion where there is a clear path to stronger productivity, greater control of critical inputs, sustainable market demand and attractive long-term returns.

Yet capital, technology and infrastructure alone will not determine our success.

Our goal is not simply to become a bigger farm. Our goal is to build a stronger agricultural enterprise—productive, integrated, profitable and sustainable—and demonstrate what modern Cambodian agriculture can become.
